Daily Chocolate Allotment chart

What is the Daily Chocolate Allotment chart? It is a fun way to comfort or reward ourselves for things that happen throughout the day. Being a mom isn't easy. Some days it's hard, frustrating work. Take comfort in the fact that you aren't alone and relish the things that do go right throughout the day.

Here's how the Daily Chocolate Allotment chart works

For each listed thing that happens throughout the day, give yourself one point. After three points, give yourself one piece of chocolate. If you have a day where you don't eat any, the points roll over to the next day. That way, when you need the chocolate, you aren't dependent on that day alone.

The listed items that involve children can also apply to other people's children. If an event, such as arriving early, happens more than once during the day, it gets multiple points. For things like moving or being pregnant that happen over a wide time frame, it gets to be counted every day for the entire length of time the event is taking place.

Have fun with it. Be generous with your chocolate points and chocolate allotment.

What are your average points per day? How many points have you saved up? Do you have any competitions going with any friends? What kind of chocolate do you like? Tell me your story of how you use the Daily Chocolate Allotment. Email me at contact@motherhoodandchocolate.com.
