This is my go-to diaper rash ointment. It soothes the rash and adds a protective layer without being medicated. It was a necessity during the first five months of my daughters life. She had very sensitive skin. One diaper without Grandma El's on her bottom and she was guaranteed to have a rash.

My husband was not content with changing my son's diaper with cold wipes. So he purchased this wipe warmer and my son loved it. After that, when I would change him with cold wipes, he would complain.

I was first introduced to the infant to toddler rocker by a friend. They had both a baby and toddler who loved it. My children have been no exception. I like the calming vibrations for fussy babies.

Parenting advice

Happiest Baby On The Block DVD
This DVD was required material for the parenting class we took through our local pregnancy resource center. The first couple of weeks after my son was born, I ignored the advice in the DVD. Bad idea. Once I began implementing the strategies presented, parenting a newborn became much easier. In the few hours I was in the hospital after having my daughter, I gave myself a refresher and had a charming baby immediately.



Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting
I loved this book. Pamela Druckerman's book presents good parenting advice. This book was a good parenting kick-starter.
