About the author

My name is Rachal Pinkerton. I am the mother to two children, two-years-old and under. My goal is to raise children who are godly, strong and courageous. My secondary goal is to educate my children in such a way that they can be diplomats, ultimately for God and, if they choose, for country.

Chocolate is my best friend some days. It helps me survive those days that I want to pull my hair out and run away. I don't talk about it much. But without a hefty supply of chocolate in the cabinet, I go crazy.

When I'm not being a wife and mommy, I like to pretend I have a life and hobbies. The hobbies I like to pretend I have include trying my hand at jewelry and learning a new language.

I am a native of Washington state.
